Tomosynthesis is an innovative method for diagnosing breast formations, which allows getting a 3D image.

Mammography with tomosynthesis is an in-depth examination of the mammary glands using a combined method (Combo-examination), which consists of 3D and 2D examinations. During one examination, two are carried out: computed mammography (2D) and an in-depth examination - mammography with tomosynthesis (3D).

In response to the oncology problems existing in Kazakhstan, the Tomotherapy project was launched in 2018.

As part of this project, the Mammology Center was opened in compliance international standards.

The Mammology Center today is the only specialized Center in Kazakhstan providing services with unique equipment.

Providing a complete, highly effective breast examination system includes:

  • Treatment of cancer patients on unique tomotherapy machines;

  • Professional consultation of high-level specialists trained in the best clinics of Germany, Austria, the USA, South Korea;

  • Ultrasound examination of mammary glands on expert class equipment;

  • Digital mammography with tomosynthesis and stereotaxic biopsy of nonpalpable lumps and microcalcifications;

  • Histological and immunohistochemical examination (IHC);

  • Molecular genetic testing of tumors, NGS technology;

  • Organ-preserving treatment in oncology;

  • Plastic and reconstructive surgery in oncology;

  • Aesthetic surgery, breast augmentation and reduction, breast up-lift;

  • Complete diagnostics of the whole body on the most modern devices;

  • Patients receive recommendations according to international diagnostic and treatment protocols;

  • Inpatient care is provided at the National Scientific Medical Center (NSMC).

  • Treatment of cancer patients on unique tomotherapy machines is the only one across the post-Soviet states.

A partnership program has been implemented with foreign university hospitals to train specialists.

We are proud to have initiated the establishment of a non-governmental organization for cancer patients care. Which help to rehabilitate in difficult situations for those who faced with the disease.
