Within the period from May 12 to 16, 2023 in Vienna, the specialists from the UMIT International Oncological Center of TomoTherapy took part in the regular congress ESTRO 2023 (European Society for Therapeutic Radiology & Oncology).

ESTRO is a multidisciplinary society involved with radiation oncology as a key component of high quality, multi-field cancer treatment, in partnership with other cancer societies.

Radiotherapy is a teamwork carried out by an interdisciplinary team of radiation oncologists, clinical oncologists, medical physicists, radiobiologists, radiotherapists and nurses. The society wishes to involve them all in the congress as well as in discussions with other specialists in the field of oncology.

The congress theme, "From innovation to action" was reflected in the event program, namely: sessions, panel discussions, master classes, exhibition of modern equipment.

All participants of this year's congress had a unique opportunity to network with the industry leaders and learn about the latest developments in technology, methods in radiation oncology and related professions in Europe and beyond.
