Outpatient chemotherapy
Outpatient chemotherapy (systemic anticancer therapy) is an injection of drugs in a day patient department of a medical center, without hospitalization.
We provide chemotherapy on an outpatient basis, as it is done in 90% of cases in countries with the developed medicine.
Sessions are conducted at a convenient for a patient time in comfortable conditions.
Chemotherapy is performed according to European and international protocols, effectiveness of which has been confirmed by numerous clinical studies.
When undergoing chemotherapy in the center, you are under the constant supervision of a nurse and oncologist-chemotherapist, which makes it possible to promptly respond and control any side effects.
Depending on the doctor's prescription, various drugs are administered to patients: chemotherapeutic, targeted, oncoimmunological.
The injection procedure can last from several minutes to several hours.
Before drug administration, the following procedures are performed:
- Examination of the patient and studying the anamnesis
- Determination of the chemotherapy regimen / analysis of another doctor’s prescription
- Formation of a list of drugs containing the active substance prescribed to the patient
- Calculation of the required dose of the drug (depends on the height, weight of the patient, etc.)
- Issuing a prescription for the patient to purchase the drug
- Consultation on what tests and how often it is necessary to take to control the condition
- Development of follow-up tactics
